Could your symptoms be connected in a way you haven’t realised?

Many women experience changes in their body, anxiety, sleep disruption, cycle changes, bloating or cravings, without realising these symptoms may be linked.

You might be noticing:

• Anxiety that feels new or out of character
• Feeling wired… but exhausted
• Broken sleep or waking around 3am
• Heart racing or adrenaline surges

• Sore, heavy or sensitive breasts
• Heavier or more intense periods

• Bloating or fluid retention
• Craving sugar or carbohydrates more than you used to

And a sense that something in your body has shifted.

If this feels familiar, you’re not imagining it.

These symptoms are often looked at individually.

Anxiety is treated as stress.
Sleep issues are treated separately.
Cycle changes are dismissed as “just hormones.”
Bloating or cravings are blamed on diet or lifestyle.

But when these changes begin to appear together,
they may be pointing to an underlying pattern.

For many women, this pattern is linked to something called estrogen dominance.

This doesn’t necessarily mean estrogen is too high.

It means the balance between estrogen and progesterone has shifted.

One of the earliest changes is that progesterone begins to decline.

When this happens, estrogen can become relatively higher in comparison.

This shift can affect far more than we’re often told including:

• your nervous system
• your sleep
• your mood
• your cycle
• your metabolism and cravings

This is why symptoms can feel confusing, unrelated, or difficult to explain.

I experienced many of these symptoms myself.

But I never realised they could all be connected.

I had heard the term estrogen dominance before,
but I didn’t understand how significant it could be
or that progesterone was the missing piece for me.

If you’re recognising yourself in this,
the next step is simply to begin understanding what your body may be trying to tell you.
